It all started at a vintage market at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Los Angeles, where a yellow t-shirt with bold red “Mr. Fliks” lettering was discovered.
That unexpected find sparked curiosity and led to a deep dive into archives and vintage collections—culminating in the surprising appearance of “Mr. Fliks” in the book Vintage T-shirts (Lightning Archives, 2019).

Today, we’re proud to celebrate the return of the original t-shirt that inspired the rebirth of the MR FLIKS brand—an authentic icon of 1960s California culture.
